The Next Chapter Project is CORE’s long term effort to better understand how stories influence people over time.
Through occasional surveys, reflections, and audience feedback, we explore how films, series, podcasts, and educational content inspire ideas, shape perspectives, encourage learning, influence decisions, strengthen community engagement, and contribute to positive change.
Most media companies focus on viewership, engagement, and audience growth. As a nonprofit organization, CORE is equally interested in understanding something deeper: impact.
We believe the true value of a story cannot be measured solely by how many people watch it, but by what happens afterward. Does it inspire learning? Encourage meaningful conversations? Influence decisions? Strengthen communities? Contribute to positive social or systemic change?
The Next Chapter Project helps us better understand the long term influence of storytelling so that we, our filmmakers, supporters, educators, and partners can create experiences that not only inform and inspire, but also contribute to a more thoughtful, connected, and flourishing world.
Participation is completely voluntary.
Any insights shared through The Next Chapter Project are analyzed in aggregate. Individual names, personal identities, and private responses are not included in reports, research findings, donor updates, or public communications.
CORE does not sell personal information, and information collected through this initiative is used solely to better understand the long term impact of storytelling and learning experiences.
The insights help CORE, filmmakers, educators, researchers, and mission aligned partners better understand:
