Alien Takeover

Alien Takeover explores the real world threat of invasive species and the silent ecological invasions already reshaping the planet. From the depths of the ocean to fragile coastal ecosystems, the film follows scientists racing to understand how non native species spread, why they thrive so aggressively, and what happens when natural balances collapse. The king crab invasion is just one example of how climate change, human activity, and global shipping have opened the door to species that ecosystems are not equipped to resist.

Through stunning underwater footage and location research, the documentary reveals how invasive predators can strip entire habitats bare, pushing native species toward extinction and disrupting food chains that have existed for thousands of years. Marine biologists, ecologists, and environmental experts confront urgent questions. Can these invasions be stopped. Is containment possible. And what are the consequences if they are not.
