Nathan Wolfe
Dr. Nathan Wolfe is one of the most prominent 'virus hunters’ known today; the Indiana Jones of the virology world as many would say. Stanford University’s Visiting Professor in Human Biology, and Founder and Director of the institute Global Viral, Wolfe’s expertise is global pandemics and specifically viruses that originate and transmit from animals to humans. He discusses his knowledge and theories surrounding society’s readiness for viruses. It’s interesting to compare his perspectives then to what is happening in our world today with COVID-19.
