Big Picture Earth

Maine’s Baxter State Park is a sanctuary of streams, still lakes, rugged mountain peaks, and thriving wildlife. Across 327 square miles of Acadian forest, lush moss carpets the ground while woodland creatures move quietly through the trees. At its heart rises the mighty Mount Katahdin, standing watch over pristine ponds and winding trails that invite slow, mindful exploration.

The Big Picture Earth is a cinematic nature sound series designed to immerse viewers in the restorative power of wild places. Each episode captures uninterrupted natural soundscapes, from gentle water lapping at rocky shores to wind moving through towering pines. Without narration or music, the series creates space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with the rhythms of the natural world.
