About Adnan Durrani

Adnan Durrani is an entrepreneur and philanthropist best known for founding Saffron Road, a brand of halal food that combines ethical sourcing with health-conscious products. Before entering the food industry, Durrani worked in investment banking, but he became disillusioned with the corporate world and sought a more meaningful way to contribute to society. His journey into food began with involvement in green initiatives, such as launching Vermont Pure spring water, and later working with Stonyfield Farm, where he partnered with Gary Hirshberg to promote sustainability. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Saffron Road in 2010, with the goal of providing high-quality, organic halal food to a market that was largely underserved at the time.
