The Union of Nature Foundation
The Union of Nature Foundation (UON) is a pioneering non-profit organization based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Established in 2022, UON unites a global network of nature protection organizations to accelerate the safeguarding of Earth's ecosystems. Their mission is to protect 50% of the planet by 2050, addressing the urgent need for enhanced biodiversity conservation and climate resilience. UON collaborates with over 12 nature protection organizations worldwide, including the WILD Foundation, International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), Rewilding Argentina, Peace Parks Foundation, and Rainforest Trust. These partners employ diverse conservation strategies—such as rewilding, restoration, and sustainable management—to protect critical habitats and empower local and Indigenous communities.
Infinity Expedition X EarthFlag
Infinity Expedition, led by Captain Clemens Oestreich aboard the 120-foot ketch Infinity, is a global sailing initiative aimed at raising awareness about Earth's environmental challenges. Their flagship project, the EarthFlag, is a symbol of collective responsibility for the planet, ceremonially raised at key locations worldwide. Since 2018, the expedition has undertaken global voyages, including trips to the Arctic, Antarctica, and upcoming journeys to the Amazon and Pacific Ocean, to inspire action for environmental stewardship. Collaborating with organizations like Hemptex® and supporting platforms like EarthToday.com, Infinity Expedition invites individuals to join their mission in protecting the Earth for future generations.
