One Step Closer to Global Peace

We all have faced some fast-changing realities in 2020, reaching a threshold of health, economic, and social crisis. In an increasingly interdependent world, I think at this point we all realize that our own welfare and happiness depend on many other people. Crucial macro trends with profound transitions require us to accept the superficial differences between us, as we are all equal in our basic wish for peace.

We created Newswirefm in 2007 with that global mindset. Broadcasting the personal stories of thought leaders who reshape the way we think and live. The story of our dear friend Ron Dermer, Israeli Ambassador to the United States, giving an in-depth look into the landscape of Israel from social, economic, and political viewpoints. The challenging misconceptions about the region, and his personal mission to take great strides for a healthy and prosperous state, along with promoting peaceful relations amongst the U.S. and Islamic states.

September 15th became a proud and historic turning point for our mission and beyond. President Donald Trump joined the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, UAE Foreign Affairs Minister Abdullah bin Zayed, and Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid al Zayani to encourage bridging gaps with the signing of the Abraham Accords Peace Agreement.

This Treaty of Peace, initiated and made foundational by Ambassador Ron Dermer and Jared Kushner, is a compelling witness that leaders across the professional spectrum recognize that innovation is the foundation of a strong economy and an empathetic society, advancing peace, security and prosperity for the Middle East and around the world. With more Arab nations expected to join the accord while international support for it is likely to increase over time, the road for a new world is finally a work in progress!
