Once sustained by the Muga River, this land now faces drought, aging communities, and vanishing biodiversity. Located in Catalonia’s Empordà region, Brugarol began as a family-run estate and has evolved into a holistic hospitality destination where agriculture, design and nature converge. The hosts steward organic vineyards and nearly 2,000 olive trees, producing wines and oils that reflect the land’s character.
