Looking to the future of responsible, circular fashion and investigate the latest technology in recycled textiles. While mentioning some of the issues associated with using fabrics made from recycled plastics, this episode will look at ways of making clothing truly circular by seeing how an item of clothing made from an organic material, like cotton, can be broken down to it’s very fibres and then made into a brand new item of clothing again, not only eliminating waste, but eliminating a reliance on harvesting new raw materials. Because when it comes to imagining a new future for fashion, forget tradition, let’s rethink the very fibres fashion is built on.
