About Lamberto Frescobaldi

Frescobaldi’s notable achievements include the development of the Gorgona Prison Wine Project, where he partnered with the Italian government to create a winemaking initiative at the Gorgona prison. The project employs incarcerated individuals in the production of wine, providing them with valuable work experience and a pathway to reintegrate into society. The Gorgona wine is not only acclaimed for its quality but has also become a symbol of hope and redemption for the participants, significantly lowering recidivism rates among them.

Frescobaldi’s work embodies his commitment to both the future of winemaking and social change, leveraging his family’s legacy to foster meaningful impact in the lives of others.
